A total of 2792 vacancies are available for Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2020 in various divisions of Eastern Railway including Howrah, Sealdah, Malda, Asansol, Kanchrapara, Lillua, Jamalpur and West Bengal.

- Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be above 15 years and should not complete the maximum age of 24 years as per the cutoff date to receive the application. Only the age entered in Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate will be considered as standard. Upper age limit is 05 years in case of SC / ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years relaxation for Benchmark Disabled Person (PWDD) candidates.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates applying are required to complete the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board, with a total of 50% marks, as well as the national in the notified trade released by NCVT / SCVT. Must have trade certificate.
